Currently Reading: Star Wars: Thrawn Ascendancy (Book III: Lesser Evil) (Star Wars: The Ascendancy Trilogy 3) by Timothy Zahn πŸ“š

Decided to go ahead and listen to the third book in the series. This one is the longest book in the trilogy so we’ll see how long it takes to listen.

If there is someone in your life who is not serving you or making you better, give yourself permission to move on.

So a lady I work with saw one of my Topo Chico bottles laying in the trash. She decided to have a little fun. She took the bottle and removed the label. Then, she printed a different label and put it on the bottle. She filled it with water and set it on my desk.

Finished Reading: Relationships First

Finished reading: Relationships First by Emily Frisella πŸ“š I’ve made it a goal to try and read at least 10 pages everyday of a self improvement type book. This is the second such book I’ve finished this year. I really liked this book. This is all about building relationships and how that effects you as a business owner and/or an employee. Emily Frisella is a business owner so she approaches things from that perspective.

Let’s fix the NHL. I think every game should be worth 3 points. The breakdown is as follows:

Regulation win = 3 points

Overtime win = 2 points

Overtime loss = 1 point

Finished Reading: Star Wars: Thrawn Ascendancy (Book II: Greater Good)

Finished reading: Star Wars: Thrawn Ascendancy (Book II: Greater Good) (Star Wars: The Ascendancy Trilogy) by Timothy Zahn πŸ“š I’ve mentioned more than once that I really like the character of Thrawn in the Star Wars universe. His tactical mind during battle is quite remarkable. I keep hoping they’ll bring him to the big screen at some point in time. This was an Audible book. Marc Thompson does the narration. I usually enjoy books that he narrates.

Not saying you should listen to Gaby, but.......

Thanks to this post from Gaby, I decided to download the newest Pink album and give it a listen. And like Gaby said in his post, this is a really good album. Full disclosure, though, I really like Pink and her music. Rarely do I hear a song of hers that I don’t like. This is no exception. If you like Pink, you should definitely check it out. If you don’t like Pink, you should still check it out.

I really liked this installment. I know a lot of people didn’t. I think Rey is a fascinating character in the Star Wars universe.

My cat was trying to sleep. My wife started singing “A Whole New World” because Aladdin was on. The cat got up and left the room mid-song.

The last couple of weeks were a blur. I’ve been so busy and have had so much going on. My routine got all out of whack. I’m happy to report that I made it to the gym this morning at 4am. Hopefully this kickstarts my daily routine. I miss it.

Hockey is incredible. Skating around on razor blades while using a stick to maneuver a rubber disk around a sheet of ice. All while trying to hit someone in a different color sweater as hard as you can!
