Talking with a co-worker about how crazy the English language is with all the different pronunciations for words spelled the same way (live/live). Or perhaps the same pronunciation for words spelled differently (for/fore/four). Then, if you throw in a Texas dialect. It’s completely different.

Makes me glad I’m not a teacher and makes me feel bad for those that are. Actually, no I don’t. They had lots of different subjects to choose and they stuck with English. So, they did this to themselves.
