I’m struggling with the idea of analog productivity in a digital world. Not struggling in I don’t know what it is. More that I’m struggling with how to make it work in my world. I love pens and notebooks. I love handwriting things.

I also love digital gadgets and tech. I have an iPad and an iPhone. I love to write down ideas and notes. I love doing this digitally because everything is in the same spot and it’s backed up.

Sometimes, though, I want this to be messy. I want to just scribble on paper and jot notes down. Perhaps I want to map out a plan for a project I’m working on. This is all stuff I can and sometimes do in a journal.’

The problem is I can’t get it to stick sometimes and I’m not sure how to make it do so. I’ve read blogs and internet posts to get ideas. I’ve read things to figure out what others are doing. Sometimes I find something I like and try it only to find out it doesn’t work for me.

So for now I’m going to keep on looking and searching for the right combination.
