Sports is a funny thing. It brings people together. It divides families. It causes much joy and sadness. With that being said, here are my sports observations from the weekend:

  1. Jimmy Butler is showing the world how talented he is. Makes you wonder why he’s played on so many different teams.
  2. I need a Football is for Dummies book to help me understand college football this year.
  3. How does Oklahoma lose to Kansas State and Iowa State on back-to-back weeks? This is the first losing streak Oklahoma has had in the regular season since the Clinton administration.
  4. Another year, same Texas Longhorns.
  5. Another year, same Texas A&M Aggies.
  6. I need a Football is for Dummies book to help me understand the NFL this year.
  7. The Cowboys defense is ridiculously bad.
  8. The NFC East is worse than ridiculously bad. Just look at these standings. Through four games, nobody in the division has more than one win.
  9. I’m glad people in this area got to see the Buffalo Bills game so they can see how good Josh Allen is.
  10. I miss hockey already.
