A lot happening the world of sports right now. From high school to professionals, everyone is trying to reach the top. So with that being said, here we go:

  1. How in the world did Auburn lose to South Carolina?
  2. Trevor Lawrence showed the world (again) why he will be the number one pick in the 2021 draft.
  3. Speaking of that, the Jacksonville Jaguars shouldn’t make it so obvious that they are tanking. During yesterday’s game, they activated a kicker they signed who never attempted a field goal in a game at any level. Previously, he had only done kickoffs in college. For the game, the Jaguars were 1 for 2 on field goal attempts.
  4. Regardless of what you think about the guy, Joe Buck is about to be all over you television screen. Check out this schedule that started yesterday:

    Sunday: Bucs/Packers
    Monday: Bills/Chiefs
    Tuesday: World Series Game 1
    Wednesday: World Series Game 2
    Thursday: Giants/Eagles
    Friday: World Series Game 3
    Saturday: World Series Game 4
Sunday: World Series Game 5 (If necessary)

  5. Speaking of announcers. One of the all-time greats has decided to call it quits after 47 years in the booth. Hall of Fame hockey announcer Mike “Doc” Emrick announced his retirement. Emrick has called mor that’s 3,750 hockey games. His highlights include 22 Stanley Cup Finals, 45 game 7s and six Olympics.

  6. It hasn’t happened yet (because the game is tonight) but I’m looking forward to seeing Kyler Murray play at the Death Star. He hasn’t lost a game there, dating back to his high school days in Allen.

  7. As a Bills fan, I was extremely happy to see the Patriots lose to the Broncos.

  8. As a Bills fan, I hated to see Tampa Bay demolish the Packers

  9. Congratulations to the LA Dodgers and Tampa Bay Rays for making the World Series. If this series is as entertaining as both League Conferences, then buckle up. We’re in for a crazy ride. The Rays tried giving that series away to Houston while the Braves did give their series away.

  10. I watched one of the best high school defensive players I’ve ever seen play the game Friday night. Next year he plays at LSU. So remember the name Landon Jackson.
