I heard a podcast the other day from Andy Frisella where he talked about the Power List. I wasn’t familiar with this concept but it sounded interesting to me. I mean who doesn’t like to hear about power? And lists? Sounds like the perfect combination.

As I listened to him describe this process, something clicked with me. The idea is that at the beginning of the day, you write down five critical tasks for the day. Not goals. Not a shopping list. But five critical things. These five things should be something that will help propel you forward towards whatever you are trying to achieve.

The goal is to cross off all five of these tasks by the end of the day. You do this and you have won the day. You won’t win every day, but enough wins throughout the week means you’ve won the week. Do that enough times and you’ve won the month.

I have started this process and I can’t wait to report back in a couple of months to share what I’ve learned.
