Possible Spoilers

This weekend I went to watch the Broadway production of Wicked with my wife and my mom (we took her for her birthday). This is my third time to watch this musical and I can say without a doubt, it’s my favorite musical.

I love the way the audience claps for Elphaba when she runs on the stage towards the beginning. I love the interaction between Glinda and Elphaba all throughout the show. The music is fantastic. Just fantastic.

Before I saw Wicked, I heard the song For Good. I was so fascinated by this song that I had to find out more about the play. I looked up other songs and fell in love with the music. So when the show came to the area for the first time, I decided to buy tickets. I fell in love with the show.

I finally read the book a couple of years ago. It was interesting to say the least. It was very different from the musical but still good.

If you love Broadway musicals, Wicked needs to be on your bucket list of must-see shows. If you are not a Broadway musical fan, Wicked still should be on your bucket list of must-see shows.
