A Christmas Movie Marathon
In October, a friend of mine watched one horror movie a day for Halloween. I thought this was a great idea. I’m not a big horror movie fan so this particular endeavor wasn’t my cup of tea. But I did like the premise.
A couple of weeks ago I decided I was going to do something similar. Instead of horror movies, though, I decided to do Christmas movies/shows. I decided that between Thanksgiving and Christmas, I am going to watch a different Christmas movie/show every day. I say show because some of the classics we watch aren’t movies but are shows (Charlie Brown’s Christmas, Rudolph the Red Nosed Reindeer, etc). I’m trying to put together a list so if there are any of your favorites, then let me know. Some of the movies on the list are:
- How the Grinch Stole Christmas (All three versions)
- Christmas Vacation (already watched)
- It’s a Wonderful Life (My favorite Christmas movie)
- Die Hard (It’s a Christmas movie that will be watched while wrapping gifts on Christmas Eve)
- A Christmas Carol
- Mickey’s Christmas Carol
- Christmas with the Kranks
Plus many more….30 days worth to be exact!
