Setup IFTTT to automatically post to DayOne for me from micro.blog. This morning I spent 4+ hours manually transferring over 251 posts to DayOne. I’m glad that’s done.
Seven years ago this little guy was dumped on our doorstep by his mommy when he was only a couple of weeks old. My wife brought him in the house and that little guy would just cry and cry because he was hungry. Amanda found out how to bottle feed him and that’s what we did (her a lot more than me. There is a picture below of me doing it though).
Love bike rides down the trail. 16 miles yesterday. 13 more today. 25 earlier this week. This time is some of the best time I get to spend with the wife.

So Covid-19 has cancelled some sports, including the NCAA basketball Tournament and the high school softball/baseball season. Then it caused the cancellation of Pancake Days. Now, Dallas Fan Expo. I think it’s time to send in the heavy hitters. Where’s Chuck Norris?

We live in crazy times. There seems to be a lot of anger and bitterness being thrown around by all walk of life. People talk about how divided our country is right now.

On Tuesday, NHL commissioner Gary Bettman outlined how the NHL would get back to work. Let’s just say, I’m a huge fan!
First off, the regular season is over. Done. Goodbye. Wait, though. There’s a caveat. Normally 16 teams make the Stanley Cup Playoffs. Well, this year 24 teams have a shot at taking home the most coveted trophy in all of sports. That’s right. Twenty-four teams will be battling it out.
A couple of weeks ago, I had a thought. Turns out it was a bad thought. Let me back up first. I have mentioned many times that I am a huge proponent of the app Drafts. I’ve been using it for years and it has resided in my dock for just about that entire time. Other apps in my dock change, but Drafts does not.
As mentioned before Drafts is where my writing starts.
I just want to take a second to say thank you to all the servicemen and women stationed around the world defending our freedom. And here’s to those that made the ultimate sacrifice. This country is what it is because of you. God bless the USA.
Two episodes into Snowpiercer and so far so good. I have always been a fan of Jennifer Connelly and she’s really good in this show. I’m not sure if I’ve ever seen Daveed Diggs in anything else but so far he’s been solid.
From what I understand, there’s a movie with the same title. I have not seen the movie so I am not sure if it’s the same as the TV show.
