On AMC Channel, They are playing Rocky. Following that up with Rocky 5. After that, they’re playing Rocky 2, Rocky 3 and Rocky 4. I wish I could make this stuff up.

It started storming last night around 6pm and it has been thundering, lightning and raining (off and on) since then. It’s been nice but it kind of puts a damper on the swim party later.

2023: The Summer of Me

At the end of the school year (and thus the sports year for me), I decided to make a few changes this summer. The first thing I decided to do was get off social media. I have deleted all the apps from my phone and iPad. Well, except for micro.blog but I don’t consider that a social media platform. I look at it as my blog hosing platform and always have.

Something I discovered that helps me with focusing on work is listening to something without words. Lyrics tend to get me distracted (call it ADHD or whatever). I want to look up what the song says or means or whatever. So I have recently started listening to movie soundtracks. Its a great way to have some kind of noise in the background without lyrics. I created a playlist with some of my favorite movie soundtracks.
