The power of no

It’s a small word but has so much impact to those who say it and to those who hear it. Whether its a child that is trying to do something they shouldn’t or a person saying no to an offer they can’t refuse. I would suggest making it a part of your daily vocabulary. There are times in life you will need to say no. Maybe it’s to someone who asks you to do something you don’t have time for or perhaps its to a child who is asking to do something that you know they shouldn’t be allowed to do.

Weather in Texas: 75 on Sunday and possible snow on Wednesday.

Still of the mindset that the Monday after the Super Bowl should be a national holiday. I need time to process and reflect on the game. Just saying.

Time to reflect on the weekend and what’s happening this week.

Just realized I’m doing a bad job of keeping sports out of my blog.

Super Sunday and I’m not Sure What to Do

It’s Super Bowl Sunday and I’m not sure how to react. This is one of the few times in which I have zero care who wins the game. Normally I have some type of rooting interest due to teams I don’t like, teams I do like, or just players that I want to win/lose the game. The first Super Bowl I remember watching was Super XXIII between San Francisco and Cincinnati.
